JAWLINE SLIMMING

Jawline slimming is for improving the silhouette of your face and creating a more ‘V’ or heart shaped face rather than a more square or round shaped face. Jawline Slimming can help to make your face appear slimmer and softer in appearance. This treatment is ideal for patients who have built up their masseter muscles by excessive chewing or grinding their teeth overnight.

WHO WILL BE INJECTING?

Dr Ali Hussain is a skilled injector with over 15 years experience and you can be assured that at AH Cosmetic Clinic you will be injected by the doctor himself. Most people will not be able to tell that you have had jawline slimming injections done, only that your face appears softer and less tense.

HOW LONG UNTIL I SEE A RESULT?

After your injections have been completed, it takes 2 to 3 days for the treatment to begin taking effect, and about 5 to 8 days to see the full results, for this reason we recommend that you plan to have these injections a minimum of 2 weeks before any special events.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST ME?

At AH Cosmetic Clinic we charge for jawline slimming injections by the area, so regardless of the number of units you require the price will remain the same. Be mindful that jawline slimming injections must be reconstituted so if a clinic is charging by unit they may be ‘watering-down’ or diluting the amount of product available per unit. *Unit pricing available upon request*

HOW LONG WILL THE TREATMENT TAKE & WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME?

Jawline slimming is a quick procedure. You will require a consultation with Dr Ali Hussain to confirm your suitability before injecting, the value of the consultation will be deducted from your final total on the day. In total, you should reserve approximately half an hour. You can return to your daily activities immediately after the procedure, however, you must avoid hot showers and exercise for a period of 24 hours post treatment.

WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?

As with any injectable treatment there is a small risk of short term redness, tenderness or bruising. Rare risks include temporary headache, nausea, flu-like syndrome, which may last from days to weeks but always resolves. Potential side effects in treating the lower face are reduced ability to pucker the lips, drooling, changes in smile or movement of the upper or lower lip. These potential side effects always resolve.
